I'm Back!

It’s been a weird and crazy few weeks, not one I would suggest to others though I might add...!

So having been exonerated from any wrongdoing from testing positive to morphine straight after my Port of Tauranga Half Ironman win in January due to poppy seeds in bread I was eating leading up to it, I have had a few hard weeks of waiting patiently for an outcome!

Just type the word “poppy seeds + morphine” into a google search will show the vast information and evidence available out there with regard to opium levels in poppy seeds (which metabolises into morphine). It went to the Sports Tribunal, and although I am unable to keep my title due to legal technicalities, I have been exonerated from any wrongdoing and am back into some hard training for My Debut Ironman Race in Cairns!

9 weeks to go and counting down....check out Challenge Cairns HERE.

Another Vo2 coached athlete Candice Hammond is also competing so check for updates on facebook and twitter over that time. Race starts 7.00am (local time) time on Sunday, 5th June 2011.
