Damn it’s coming around fast! Challenge Cairns only 10 days away!!! I am super excited to race my first Ironman distance event, it’s quite scary heading into the unknown but I am confident with my preparation and having such wise advice from my coach Keegan Williams helps me know it’s going to be an enjoyable experience.
It’s nice to start to ease off the training and taper down, each day I feel a little bit fresher and a little more energised.
I head off this Saturday which gives me a week to settle in and get accustomed to the warmer weather. Race day is Sunday the 5th June at 6:45am local time, I am sure there will be updates at Challenge Cairns and will try get someone to update as I am racing.
I would also like to welcome and thank Mother Earth for coming on board to help me continue my career as a professional athlete.
"The Mother Earth philosophy is to make delicious, wholesome, natural food. We believe in making food with minimal processing using natural ingredients and no artificial colour or flavours. This ensures the best tasting Muesli bars, snack nuts and dried fruit for you and your family."
Check them out at Mother Earth or even better get some at your local supermarket. My favourite is the Sultan Oat and Honey!!!!

Congrats on getting Mother Earth as a sponsor. I was hoping you'd be coming back to Boise this year. Maybe next year. Keep up the good work and good luck in July.
